Sustainable Urban Farming

In this micro-credential, learners gain foundational knowledge related to sustainable urban farming practices, including both a theoretical understanding of the socio-economic elements related to food sovereignty and the applied learning of building and maintaining a small-scale sustainable urban farm (ie. an indoor vertical garden). The micro-credential is delivered over seven, 3-hour, modules; the five theoretical modules are delivered online in a fully asynchronous format, and the two applied learning modules are delivered in-person.

  • Module 7 – Social Impacts of Sustainable Urban Farming (online)
