This state-of-the-art facility is designed to give you the edge. Develop your skills in the forensic studio, simulated crime scenes, mock interview rooms and view your classmates 'at work' in the overhead viewing theatre and critique their performance, creep through a simulated crime scene from the viewing theatre. The mock crime scene apartment is one of the new newest labs built at Humber's Lakeshore Campus.
The Toronto Police Service (TPS), Humber and the University of Guelph-Humber have entered into an agreement to provide the Leadership Development Program at the executive, mid-management, and supervisory levels to police officers and civilian staff, whereby participants in the program will receive credits towards completion of the Police Foundations Humber diploma or the Bachelor of Applied Science (Justice Studies) Guelph-Humber degree.
This partnership is innovative in terms of police higher education and a vehicle through which to pursue lifelong learning. The programs offered through this partnership will provide justice professionals with the necessary education as well as specialized police training to meet the demands of a multicultural, sophisticated society in the 21st century.
