CAMP CHOICE STUDENTS BECOME DETECTIVES FOR A DAY

June 16, 2017

On May 17 and 24, 2017, Camp Choice visited the Lakeshore Campus’ Centre for Justice Leadership and Simulation Lab to learn more about Humber’s Justice Studies programs. The camp also took part in the CSI Crime Game.

Humber's Camp Choice – Aboriginal Camp & Outreach program, is a funded initiative to help Aboriginal youth build a successful future. The young Aboriginal students attending the camp are in grades 7 and 8.

These students were shown a staged crime scene in the Crime Scene Simulation Studio and were asked to review the clues and try to determine who the guilty culprit was. Students loved the activity and thoroughly enjoyed playing the role of detective.
