On April 10th, 2017, Ignite held its annual Student Appreciation Awards. Established 25 years ago, the awards recognize students, faculty, staff and administrators who exemplify selfless dedication, excellence and strive to make significant contributions to the Humber community. The awards are student driven and provide an opportunity to bring together Humber students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
We're thrilled to have a student and a faculty member from The School of Social and Community Services win awards this year. Congratulations to Sara Nickerson-White, a faculty member in the Child and Youth Care program, and to Chelsea Burton, a student of the Criminal Justice degree program.
It was an amazing night full of wonderful and inspiring speeches. The whole ceremony brought the Humber community closer together. Thank you to Ignite for organizing this amazing night. And congratulations and thanks to all the award recipients and nominees for their success and for their hard work and dedication.
