The students will spend four days a week, for fifteen weeks working directly with children and youth in an Internship setting relevant for CYC practitioners. Internship will provide opportunities for CYC students to organize methods of supervision and feedback and utilize this for their professional growth and development. Students will be expected to focus on developing an awareness of the organizational policies , documentation and reporting expectations for their particular setting. CYC students will also practice the skills necessary to work as part of an inter-professional team to organize, plan and implement programming and interventions. Development of time management strategies will be expected.
