The Police Foundations Leadership Diploma is specifically designed for working Justice Professionals (police officers, private security and members of the Canadian military). The program provides critical thinking, research and evidence-based theories that layer on the individuals pre-existing job experience.
Delivered in a hybrid format, this program combines in-class lectures and group work with online study. This format allows the student the option of maintaining employment while furthering education. Whether you are a front line worker, senior manager or executive, you will benefit from the knowledge and experience gained in this program.
Taught by highly skilled educators (most with justice backgrounds), this experience will help you form new networks and associations with diverse justice organizations, agencies, and individuals. Program completion can provide you with career advancement opportunities and open the possibility of further graduate studies.

Applicants must have completed at least three (3) years’ work experience in public policing, private security or investigations, government inspection agencies, and in addition to the above may receive advanced standing.
Advanced standing credit: Work experience and professional training. If you have three (3) years of full-time work experience in a related field, such as policing, private security or investigations you may receive up to 2.0 transfer credits.
If you have completed recruit/induction training at any of the facilities below, you may be eligible to receive up to 4.0 additional transfer credits:
