Be part of shaping the future! There are several ways for employers to actively engage in helping us make a difference in our communities. We invite you to be part of our advisory committees, share industry issues that we can solve together through projects and applied research, and share your voice through guest speaking and career events.
Program Advisory Committees
Each program has an Advisory Committee, comprised of a broad cross-section of industry representatives, who contribute to curriculum development and strategic program direction. Members meet once or twice per year to discuss employment and technological trends, and changes in industry, to help ensure our programs remain current and relevant to the needs of industry.
To learn how you can make a difference, visit our Program Advisory Committee page here, or please contact:

For additional information see Centres of Innovation.
Capstone Projects
Project-based learning is an integral part of learning, equipping students with practical troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Capstone projects in the final semester of study bring students and faculty together, to solve a real-world technical problem or innovation challenge.
