Congratulations to Bachelor of Community Development (CDEV) graduate Lisa Post, who was nominated for the 2023 Premier’s Award. The Premier’s Awards honour college graduates across Ontario in seven distinct categories in recognition of outstanding career accomplishments. Presented annually, nominees have attained professional success after graduation while being actively involvedin the community. Lisa is a transformational leader who has spent her career championing equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging. A lifelong resident of Orangeville, Ontario, Lisa was elected in 2022 as the town’s second female Mayor since its incorporation in 1863, after serving a four-year term as a councillor.
Lisa is an active volunteer serving on several non-profit boards and working alongside local organizations focused on culture, youth, empowerment and safety. She prioritizes a community-first approach in her decision-making and is an advocate for the merits of lifelong learning.
