FSCS Hosts Third Annual Alexandre Boucher Memorial Lecture

On Tuesday, October 8th, the Faculty of Social and Community Service hosted its third annual Alexandre Boucher Memorial Lecture as part of the Lakeshore Campus Mental Health Month.

Alexandre’s mother and sister attended his memorial lecture. His sister, Geneviève, spoke about the importance of mental health awareness and breaking the stigma surrounding it. Guest speaker and rapper Anthony McLean delivered an engaging and thought-provoking lecture on mental health for high performers. Students and staff walked away with a toolkit full of coping strategies. This was a meaningful way to remember Alexandre and raise awareness about mental health for all college students.
