Anna's Experience at Humber
Please tell us about your time at Humber College. What was the best part of it?
I would say the best part of Humber were the friends I made and I’m not just talking about my fellow classmates. The profs were all so helpful and kind throughout my journey and their guidance really helped me to succeed and I’m glad to say they weren’t only the best profs but also amazing friends too.
Please tell us about your experience since graduating.
Right after I finished school, I started working for a security company but quickly realized it wasn’t for me. After about 6 months, I started working at the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA). I have now been working there for just over 6 months and it has been incredible.
What do you find most satisfying about your career choice?
Growing up, I always watched “Border Security” with my parents and it was my dream for many years and now I’m so close to my dream. Currently, I work in the Immigration office but I’m so close to reaching my goal it is crazy. I love what I do, and I wake up every day thankful that I chose this route.
