Please tell us about your time at Humber College. What was the best part of it?

My time at Humber College felt like a fleeting moment, yet it profoundly transformed my life for the better, filling me with newfound knowledge and wisdom graciously passed on by my remarkable professors and fellow peers. Throughout my tenure with the PSI faculty, I was able to learn and grow not just as a student, but as a person. With ongoing support throughout my academic journey and beyond, towards my career goals, the faculty couldn't have been more helpful. The best quality about being part of the PSI program has been the mentorship and guidance. With the many different programs and avenues there are to support students, I found I was able to learn in a supportive environment.

Please tell us about your experience since graduating.

Since graduating, my entire life has undergone a transformation. Initially, I embarked on my educational journey without a clear vision of my career path. However, with invaluable guidance and recommendations from the program coordinator, Daniel Schwartz, I had the opportunity to attend a job fair hosted by TJX Canada, the leading Loss Prevention company in Canada. Following a rigorous interview process, I was selected to join their esteemed Loss Prevention team as a Store Security Agent. I am immensely grateful to Daniel Schwartz for opening the door to this incredible opportunity.

What do you find most satisfying about your career choice?

Working as a Loss Prevention Store Security Agent for TJX Canada brings boundless satisfaction. Each day unfolds with new adventures, encounters with diverse individuals, and dynamic environments. I am privileged to contribute to the esteemed TJX Canada Corporation because this career has given me a sense of fulfillment derived from making a tangible impact on ensuring the safety and security of both customers and the company's assets. Additionally, the dynamic nature of the role provides constant challenges and opportunities for growth, keeping each day exciting and rewarding. Working alongside highly skilled colleagues in a supportive environment adds to the satisfaction, fostering a sense of pride in being part of a team dedicated to excellence in Loss Prevention.
