Black Heritage Month Pop-Up Exhibit: Know the Past, Shape the Future

The Humber College Lakeshore Principal’s Office hosted a 1-Day Pop-Up Exhibit “Know the Past, Shape the Future,” in partnership with the Canadian Multicultural Innovators Museum (CMIM). The exhibit was displayed on the 2nd floor of the Student Welcome and Resource Centre (WEL) at Lakeshore Campus.

The interactive exhibit, which included a virtual reality component, explored the rich diversity of Black Canadian Heritage through a collection of pieces from different regions, historical periods, and artistic innovations. By showcasing the vast contributions of the Black Canadian community, CMIM aims to celebrate the power of creativity and foster a sense of connection to the Canadian Black experience.
