Interpretive Centre Third Floor Gallery – Soul Existence
Tags: February 2023, Vol. 3, Issue 2
The Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre is excited to announce the opening of a new exhibition on the Third Floor Gallery entitled Soul Existence. Featuring the artwork of new Toronto-based artist Susannah Smith, the show explores the artist’s mental health journey through the visual metaphor of painted butterflies.
Inspired by Colonel Samuel Smith Park and surrounding natural landscape as a place of reflection, Smith also reflects on the former life of Humber’s Lakeshore Campus as a mental healthcare institution in the creation of her pieces.
Explore Susannah Smith’s kaleidoscope of butterflies illustrating her mental health journey in Soul Existence.
