Movie Night: Steadfast With Honourable Jean Augustine

On April 5th, we had the pleasure of hosting a movie night for the screening of STEADFAST: The Messenger and the Message, a documentary on the life of the Honourable Jean Augustine. Attendees enjoyed various concession snacks and the documentary which gave great insight into the history of Black History Month in Canada and the and the immense advocacy and leadership Jean played in getting it into legislation.
