5th Annual Healing the Voice Within Fundraiser in Support of The Gatehouse

Students and staff from the Social Services Worker (SSW), Community Development (CDEV), Bachelor of Addictions and Mental Health (BAMH), and Addictions and Mental Health Graduate Certificate (ADMH) programs attended the fifth annual fundraiser in support of The Gatehouse, which took place at the Liberty Grand on Oct 5th, 2023. The evening consisted of live performances, live painting, and speeches from local community groups and politicians, including Mayor Olivia Chow. All proceeds went towards The Gatehouse, an Etobicoke-Lakeshore charitable organization which provides supports, resources, and community for survivors of childhood sexual abuse. The Gatehouse regularly hosts placement students from Humber College.
