Three students from the Bachelor of Behavioural Science (BBS) program attended the annual conference of the Ontario Association of Behaviour Analysis on October 7th, 2024, in Toronto. This provided the students with the opportunity to hear presentations by various speakers on the cutting edge of Applied Behaviour Analysis and view research poster presentations by master’s level students in the field.
One student reported: “From attending ONTABA, I learned that learning is an ongoing process, and that Applied Behavior Analysis is an evolving field. It has much to offer, and it will continue to grow and gain recognition in our society. Towards the end of the day, we spent time talking with others in the field, which was a great opportunity to build connections and get to know new people”.
