The Toronto Police Services Rovers Crew hosted the Annual Investiture Ceremony in March. Twenty-five Police Foundations Program (PFP) students were formally invested by the 22 Division TPS Unit Commander, Anthony Paoletta. FSCS Senior Dean June MacDonald-Jenkins was also present to support and congratulate students on their tremendous achievement, along with Scouts Canada and other TPS and Rovers dignitaries. PFP faculty members also attended the ceremony to support their students.
Rovers is a partnership between Humber College, TPS and Scouts Canada. Founded by PFP Alumni Scott Walker, the group seeks to instill members with community service, leadership, teamwork, communication and conflict resolution skills as students seek to pursue careers in policing and law enforcement.
On behalf of Police Foundations Program, we would like to wish congratulations to all 25 members for their hard work and dedication in achieving this recognition.
