Spotlight on Community Partners -Â Albion Neighbourhood Services

Albion Neighbourhood Services is focused on partnering with the community in order to provide programming that is interactive, engaging, and accessible to community members. The agency recognizes and appreciates substantial differences among community members, including varying beliefs, values, or lived experiences. The agency also works to foster collaboration among employees, volunteers, and clients, while also ensuring the necessary supports are provided for individuals with social barriers.
Through providing various programs and/or services, such as youth evening programs or children’s afterschool services, Albion Neighbourhood Services works to also empower and promote resiliency among young lives. The agency provides space for Humber students to gain transferrable skills needed for the workforce through their Boys and Girls Club, Homework Help, Podcasts, and Newcomer services. As such, Albion Neighbourhood Services holds and implements the values of diversity, collaboration, equity/access, accountability, client-centered, and respect/dignity within programming and services for the community.
Albion Neighbourhood Services also partners with the Community and Justice Services (CJS), Social Service Worker (SSW), and Bachelor of Community Development (BCD) programs in the FSCS!
