On October 9th, the 4km Move for Mental Health Awareness Walk/Run was held at Lakeshore Campus. Faculty, students and staff joined by community members came out to show support for the Mental Health Awareness Month and learn about what services the campus has to offer to help individuals on their positive health journey. This event was hosted as an awareness campaign and the chance for the community to come together.
A group of Addictions and Mental Health students and Joanne Spence, Program Coordinator for the ADMH program, joined the event in support of Mental Health Awareness month along with a four-legged friend, named Maui. It was a gorgeous day and the group had fun walking together in support of a great campaign.
