CYC Faculty and Students Travel to South Africa

Child and Youth Care Professor, Dr. Jaspreet Bal, and CYC students Zanubia Mohammed-Hosein and Sherene Whyte presented research on indigenous, black, and people of colour child and youth care service users and providers at the National Association of Child Care Workers conference in Durban, South Africa. They presented alongside their colleagues from the Child and Youth Care Alliance for Racial Equity (CARE).

Dr. Jaspreet Bal and Sherene Whyte also presented in Durban with CYC student Samantha Rampersad on their 4th-year thesis research on youth involvement in Toronto Policing.
