CYC Professor Nominated for Governor General’s Innovation Award

Congratulations to Child and Youth Care Professor, Dr. Jaspreet Bal, for her recent Governor General’s Innovation Award nomination for her body of work Indigenous, Black and other People of Colour calls to action for Child and Youth Care.

Dr. Bal and her research team collected data from community interactions and organized them into 14 themes that house concrete actions. These form a living document that is used in nationwide community consultations.
