Students of the Forensic Identification program completed their Fall 2019 semester with a hands-on, practical crime scene assignment in Humber’s state-of-the-art forensic simulation studio. This allowed students to apply classroom theory and techniques. They were tasked to forensically examine the mock crime scene, collect DNA evidence from blood stains and dust windows for fingerprints.
Police Foundations students also participated in the scenario as actors playing roles as police officers and complainants of crimes. This provided an interactive learning environment for students in both programs to unite and share their experiences.
