GUEST SPEAKER: Jeremie Saunders

The Faculty of Social and Community Services is excited to welcome Jeremie Saunders, an award-winning actor, producer, and host of the popular podcast Sickboy. Born and raised on the East Coast of Canada, Jeremie has become a leading voice in reshaping how society views illness and disease. Through his work, Jeremie aims to tear down the walls of stigma and find levity in an otherwise dark situation. Jeremie’s talk will focus on the opportunities that come out of sitting with discomfort and the vital role that vulnerability plays in helping us realize our goals.
As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, the 9th Annual Alexandre Boucher Memorial Lecture is an event held in memory of Alexandre Boucher, a Criminal Justice Degree student, in order to raise awareness and provide support to the Humber community.
