During the spring and summer of 2023, Humber’s Centre for Social Innovation supported the eighth growing season for the GARDENS Project – a partnership with LAMP Community Health Centre.

Over the course of the Winter 2023 semester, the Centre for Social Innovation hosted its inaugural Social Innovation Workshop Series.

The Faculty of Social and Community Services was awarded a grant from the Community Partnership Fund under the leadership of professor Linda Hill.

Humber’s Harm Reduction Partnership Working group hosted a discussion event for faculty and staff to learn about cannabis legalization in Canada.

Due Process – The Interviews, is a podcast that examines Canada’s Criminal Justice System. 

Steve Ursel is conducting a study with Dr. Craig Rivera of Niagara University, on law-enforcement pre-employment polygraph testing.

Daniel Schwartz, PSI program faculty and Program Coordinator, has co-authored the book Crime and Intelligence Analysis in Canada.
