Students are not qualified to administer medication to clients and must refrain from doing so under any circumstances.
Students are not to participate in diffusing any physical altercations. In circumstances where there is an escalation, students are not expected to take any action. Any non-intervention training offered to the student is for safety reasons and does not give the student to authority or responsibility to get involved in diffusing volatile situations.
Students are required to maintain professional boundaries and client, agency confidentiality regarding their experience in the field. Should a breach of confidentiality occur, students will be held accountable by the body of professional ethics and practice connected to their program of study as well as the Student Code of Conduct.
