The purpose of The Faculty of Social & Community Services Placement Procedures and Practices Guide is to provide a framework as it relates to the preparation, acquisition, performance and placement requirements of any given program of study in the Faculty of Social & Community Services (hereafter referred to as the FSCS). In addition, this document outlines the requirements of all students in the FSCS to fulfill and uphold their responsibilities and rights as they relate to Work-Integrated Learning experiences. Furthermore, The FSCS Placement Procedures and Practices Guide (PPPG) provides an outline of the processes involved in resolving issues regarding field placement.
The practices and procedures outlined in this document are exclusive to students in the Faculty of Social & Community Services and are not intended for students in other Faculties throughout Humber College.
